Wine that confirms all its initial potential, maintaining a young color and the aroma of enormous complexity, with black fruits and blue fruits standing out together with the excellent notes of spices (pink pepper), black tobacco and its interesting cedar notes. 1500 bottles were produced from this wine, with very few left.

Vinification and Stage: grapes transported in 20 kg food plastic boxes and manually selected at the entrance to the cellar. Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz grape varieties (from Quinta da Veiga located 200 meters above sea level) were vinified together in a traditional stone mill with temperature control. Touriga Nacional, from Quinta do Chão do Pereiro (located 550 meters above sea level), was vinified in stainless steel vats, and both maceration and alcoholic fermentation were prolonged and the temperature was controlled. The aging of 24 months in new French oak barrels followed by another 12 months in bottle gave the wine a sophisticated balance between the dense structure, alcohol and acidity. It is a concentrated wine, with a silky texture (not austere wine, with no perception of tannins), intense gravity and depth. Ends long and with great precision. A powerful, sophisticated and silky wine that will continue to evolve favorably for years to come.

Decanting: as it is an unfiltered wine without collages, we recommend decanting it, a procedure that will also allow oxygenation, exposing all the aromatic potential of the wine.

Service temperature: serve between 15 and 17ºC.

Pairing: Meat dishes from elaborate and sophisticated cuisine. Intense cheeses.
